How Selling Resveratrol Can Help You Gain Financial Independence

View the Original Post – “How Selling Vitamins Can Cure Your Financial Ills”

Let’s face it. Times are tough. Businesses are closing. Banks are foreclosing. And people’s assets are disappearing faster than Balloon Boy’s chances of a reality TV series. So is it still possible to retire at that magical age of 65, or is that doomed to be just one more fairy tale told by our parents?

Well, if you are an average American stuck working a normal nine-to-five, your chances are pretty bleak. However, if you’re one of the thousands of Americans who have become a nutraceutical sales person, business is booming.

What is nutraceutical sales you ask? Is it, like, some sort of voodoo pharmaceutical sales? Nope. “Nutraceuticals” is just a fancy way of saying vitamin and mineral supplements. It used to be that you could only get vitamins in pill form, but nowadays you can get nutraceutical supplements in energy drinks, special shakes, candy bars, teas, and just about every edible and drinkable delivery method you can think of.

According to a recent article in “Nutraceuticals World,” vitamin drink sales alone grew by 18% over the last year, with total sales topping a whopping $1.8 billion.

So what is driving this growth? Anna Ibbotson, an industry manager of chemicals and materials at the global consultancy Kline & Company says that as many people lose their jobs, or finding themselves without health insurance, they are turning to liquid vitamins and powder supplements to keep them healthy and out of the hospital. So instead of an apple a day, the new fashion trend has become multivitamins and protein drinks.

But here’s the big question: How can you cash in on this market?

It’s actually a lot easier than you think. A simple search through Google will bring up literally hundreds of companies offering bulk packages of vitamins and nutraceutical supplements. Of course, many of the vitamins are only cheap enough to sell if you buy twenty or thirty cases, but let’s face it, who wants to store that many boxes in their garage? The best thing to do is to find one or two other people that are willing to go in on the project with you so that you can get a case or two, and not worry about relocating your spouse’s car (or marriage) to make room for your new economic venture.

Next you have to advertise. When you start out, you won’t have a lot of money to advertise with, so beginning vitamin sellers usually use word of mouth. It sounds silly trying to sell vitamins to your friends or neighbors, but vitamins are pretty expensive at a store and if you have 300 vitamins for five dollars and the store down the street has them for $20 guess who is getting the business?

Eventually, as you get better at networking and selling, you’ll find your business growing, and before you know it you’ll earn more and more extra cash to pay off credit cards, car bills, and more.

And nowadays with many blogging websites offering free services, you can set up your own website to sell your product off of right on the internet, without ever leaving your home!

Some vitamin companies will also offer wholesale buyers the option of purchasing what amounts to a virtual franchise on the Internet with a space on their website. Tapping into this option can be useful in networking nationally (and sometimes even internationally!).

However, the biggest, and best advantage to selling vitamins is that the business is on your own time. This is a big relief for single parents, individuals with little time for a second job, or people that just want a flexible schedule.

It’s strange but who knew that those good ol’ edible Fred and Barney Flintstone Chewables could be the key to financial independence, or that Vitamin-C could cure your credit card ills?

So what are you waiting for? Start your own nutraceutical sales business and experience a whole new degree of financial freedom!

Here is a list of current known side effects users of Resveratrol have reported while taking Resveratrol Supplements.
  • A buzzed feeling and/or slight dizziness (similar to a caffeine high)
  • Random insomnia (normally at the beginning of a Resveratrol supplement regimen. Usually subsides within 2 weeks)
  • Increased blood pressure (associated with extremely high dosages 500mg-1000mg trans-resveratrol)
  • Stomach cramping and/or diarrhea (likely due to Emodin content in low quality Resveratrol sources, so a good source is important in avoiding this side effect)

Resveratrol Law Suits Unleashed

Original Post – Resveratrol Law Suits Unleashed from www.resveratrol.info

Today, press releases by Oprah & Dr OZ’s companies state that Oprah and Dr Oz have launched over 50 lawsuits against companies promoting products using video clips from the Oprah show to suggest that these huge celebrities are endorsing the brands using this tactic.

As in one other blog entry I made, a company called FWM Laboratories of Hollywood, Fla, leads the flock of companies likely involved in the lawsuit. The lawsuit states that these companies had gravely injured these powerful celebrities’s reputations because of the consumer fury that has resulted from these misleading marketing tactics – typically for the free trial supplements. Resveratrol is but one supplement that these aggressive online marketers have leveraged. They have also used similar video footage for other products such as colon cleansing, teeth whitening, cellulite and anti-wrinkle creams.

You can expect the once rapant surge of adsense ads flooding the marketplace to come to a dead stop because of this breaking news. This will be a welcome reprieve for the legitimate manufacturers of resveratrol supplements that have a lot of science and lab testing behind their products and don’t use the resveratrol free trial method. They have complained how this rash of unscrupulous vendors has dampened the market trust of consumers buying quality resveratrol products.

The end result will be beneficial for the resveratrol marketplace because there is so much ongoing resveratrol studies that interest and awareness will continue to grow in the long run, so ethical companies with good products will begin to thrive again.”

Popular Resveratrol Sources

In Benefits of Resveratrol, Resveratrol Research, Resveratrol Supplements, Trans-Resveratrol on September 4, 2009 at 3:13 pm

Below are a list and description of Current Popular Resveratrol Sources:

Red Wine - For years, we’ve heard about all the wonderful health benefits of drinking wine, specifically red wine, but only recently have we been able to attribute these benefits to Resveratrol. The average glass of red wine contains between 750 micrograms and 1 milligram of active Resveratrol. Red Wine is a great source for Resveratrol since it is the most abundant liquid source currently available. When a person drinks a glass of red wine, they usually consume it over many smaller sips. Since Resveratrol is best absorbed through the lining of the mouth, these smaller sips allow for faster absorption into the bloodstrea. Studies suggest consuming two 4-6oz glasses of Red Wine per day to support healthy cholesterol levels, decrease the risk of heart attacks, lower the risk of heart disease and even possibly protect the body from certain forms of cancer.

Japanese Knotweed - This is the most popular source used in Resveratrol supplements and the best source for standardized Trans-Resveratrol. The Japanese Knotweed is actually an invasive weed that is practically impossible to kill. It is native to China, Japan and Korea, and has now made its way to the United States. It is considered an invasive plant species and can be found in over 39 states and in 6 provinces in Canada. Researchers are currently trying to the determine the relation between Resveratrol and the Japanese Knotweeds. invincible nature. Known as Fallopia japonica, Polygonum cuspidatum, and Reynoutria japonica, the Japanese Knotweed can be made into a tea, or even chewed on (tastes like rhubarb) and is available in powder form with Trans-Resveratrol standardizations of 10%, 25%, 50%, 98, 99%.

Peanuts - Since many people suffer from Peanut allergies, this is a source that is rarely discussed. Resveratrol can be found in Peanuts, and products that use Peanuts (Peanut Butter, Boiled Peanuts, Peanut Spreads). One cup of Peanuts contains a fraction of Resveratrol compared to Red Wine (approximately 25 micrograms - 50 micrograms) and Peanut Butter contains approximately half the Resveratrol of Peanuts alone. While they are not the best source of Resveratrol, Peanuts are a great source of health fatty acids (Omega-3s), and recent research has shown that consuming one and a half ounces of Peanuts (approximately 45 peanuts) fives days per week can even help to lower the risk of heart disease as much as 50%.

Chocolate - This is one that 99% of people will be glad to see on this list. Researchers Read the rest of this entry »

What to Know Before Buying A Resveratrol Supplement

In Avoiding Resveratrol Scams, Benefits of Resveratrol, Resveratrol in the Media, Resveratrol Research, Resveratrol Supplements, Trans-Resveratrol on September 3, 2009 at 11:36 pm

Resveratrol is an all natural antioxidant that is found in grapes, berries, peanuts, green tea and conveniently red wine. It is considered by many to be a miracle ingredient capable of treating everything from obesity to cancer.  The research backing these claims is limited, but new studies are currently being done to further back these claims. One very interesting observation noticed with recent research — In every species studied so far Resveratrol has been shown to increase overall lifespan (from 50-90%). That alone was enough to make Resveratrol supplementation the hottest industry trend in decades.

With so many Resveratrol products currently available, it can be very difficult to decide which products are the best. It is important to remember, that over 90% of current Resveratrol supplement offers are fake. These Free Trial Offersthat you see everywhere are nothing more than scams conceived by multi-level marketers looking for a quick buck while Resveratrol is popular. These Free Trial Offers are not a new scam. They have been around for years and prior to Resveratrol they were focusing on the Acai Berry supplement market. While there are many companies souring the industry it does not mean that all companies and their products are bad. The good news is that there are still many reputable Resveratrol supplement providers out there. They rarely offer free trials, and they make it easy to determine exactly what the product contains. They provide good customer service and should do everything to make sure you are satisfied. Resveratrol is not a cheap ingredient, and you will get what you pay for when buying from a reputable source! Take your time when choosing supplements and do some research. Call or email the companies and see how fast they respond back to you. If an offer seems too good to be true, then it probably is!
